I'm trying to import a flat data file meant to be sent to another system. A character is causing a carriage return and one line of data turns into two. The character is computer generated - it looks like a squared off zero.

It also happens if I cut and paste the file, the sort data to columns.
I can't do a find and replace because I can't recreate the character and it will not cut and paste for me to do a find and replace. Evil or Very Mad

Does anyone know how to stop the "auto" carriage return then the import hits this character. Question
