Archived from groups: microsoft>public>word>pagelayout (more info?)

I have sections with continuous breaks between them. For some reason, one of
the sections puts in a next page break and I cannot change it to continous -
using the page setup, layout section start drop down menu to change the
following section. I've tried the
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/WorkWithSections.htm but I still can't
figure why the section following has new page formatting becasue it is not
added by me. Also this is in the middle of the document so not to do with the
final section break.
Can anyone help please because this is driving me crazy?

If you have changed the paper size or orientation, then of course a Next
Page break will be required. But the issue may be the one described in
“Section break causes an unexpected page break in Word” at

Hi Suzanne,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately that didn't fix it because I have not
got any footnotes or changes to page layout. I have the same layout in other
parts of my document and the section break works fine. I think there must be
something hidden that I can't see that is affecting the formatting.

If you want to email me the problem doc (or a portion of it exhibiting the
problem), I'll take a look.
