Which action was working fine? Running spell check?
Which language are you working in?
Normally, I'd expect to get that message if text in a document has been
formatted with a language I don't have installed, but have activated in the
Office Language Tools. If this has been by accident (I want to use a
different language), I'll usually Ctrl+A to select all the text, then choose
the right language in Tools/Language/Set language.
