page prints smaller then it should

When I open my doc it flashes after a second and then resizes to the left. I
then print the doc and it prints much smaller then on the print preview. The
page numbers are about 4 inches from the bottom and the doc shifts to the
left. I have tried a variety of printers but get the same problem. I am
using a template as well.

Does the document contain markup (comments or tracked changes)? If so, Word
is allowing space for the "balloons" in the margin, even on pages that don't
need them.
