Hi,

Trying to figure out why I can't open PDF files from an Outlook 2003
message. Here's the snippet from the PC's registry. Missing anything?

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security]
"Level"=dword:00000003
"UseCRLChasing"=dword:00000001
"Level1Remove"=".pdf"

[Other stuff removed.]

Thanks

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

Are you able to save them to disk and open them from there? That
"Level1Remove" key is set to force the user to save .PDF files before opening
them...

I used to have similar problem, and sometimes the pdf file cannot open because it is damaged. And sometimes I need to repair the file, I usually use a utility called Advanced PDF Repair to repair my PDF file. It works rather well. Its web address is http://www.datanumen.com/apdfr/

Just post to hope this will be useful.
