i will be building a db solution that will be used by 2 different users. (aka. a very small app)
This application will include a feature to automatically create MS Outlook tasks for certain contacts. it would be ideal if the 2 users could both "see" these tasks and add / delete to them via my application (aka. via vba). Just FYI. We're talking about several hundred tasks... which is why they want to automate it. Otherwise, they could just do it manually in outlook.

No one around here from what I can tell shares outlook data. the option to open someone else's folder is greyed out. even if this were an option, if my application was creating outlook tasks for the current windows user, this would be an inconvenience to have to constantly open someone else's folder to see all tasks that have been created by the system.

Would the solution be to create a new outlook account / user that can be shared by the two end users? I would still need to speak with the outlook admin team to allow these 2 people to have access to this new profile...

Any comments or suggestions?

Please and thanks.
