I can't move a picture

I inserted a picture into my word document, and I can format it, resize it,
etc., but I can't move it ! Can anyone help?

To move it freely (as opposed to the same way you can drag and drop text),
you need to change the wrapping from In Line With Text to some other style.

Hi R.B.,

Is this the same if you set the Format=>Picture=>Layout
setting to 'in front of text'?

What version of Word?

Is the document protected for forms (fill-in)?

How big is the drawing?

Can you select it and use Cut (ctrl+x) then
paste it into a new spot in the document?

If you use the drawing toolbar is the Draw=>Snap to Grid
feature enabled?
