How do I modify outline number gallery in 2007

In WD2007, it seems that once a number gallery is created, it cannot be
modified without creating a new list of some sort. After I create an outline
numbering scheme, I can find no way to modify it. When I right-click I only
have an option to save it to the list gallery. All of the commands in the
gallery window only deal with creating new (more) lists or new list styles.

So how can I edit an existing "list" without creating a new one?

Although the labeling/terminology is very confusing, "Define New Multilevel
List" *is* the way to modify it. Just select the desired list before
clicking this.

If the command was called "Multilevel List" only, there would be a lot less
confusion.

Yes, I hope they make some improvements on this in Word 2010--makes me wish
I were on the beta so I could suggest it!
