To Sue Mosher (or anyone who can respond),

The issue is this.

The computer people here at work have written an Outlook rule for my email account that copies all Sent emails with a certain character string in it ("R2U") to a folder that is within my account mailbox. That's all the rule is supposed to do : (1) when a message is Sent, (2) move a copy of it to the R2U folder.

Unfortunately, this rule ended up being client-side. It needs to work both when I am using Outlook at work and via OWA,

Why does this rule end up being client-side?. From what I've read from your posts and website tutorials, this rule should not end up being client-side.

EXCEPT (apparently),

if they wrote the rule using an OWA client.

Is there a way for them to write this particular rule so that it ends up being server-side? Should I just tell them, not to write it using an OWA client?

That's my question.

Thank you.

John Wirt
