Can anyone help here? I already know how to repeat a single animation. But I
need to know how to loop a sequence or set. Example: animation A, then
animation B, then animation C, then A, B, C, etc.
Thanks. |

Unfortunately, PPT's animations don't have a "loop sequence" option.
You could create a 1-slide custom show and loop that (see FAQ Loop at
http://www.echosvoice.com/animationfeatures.htm ) or you can create a
separate 1-slide presentation and link that into your file. See Linking and
Looping at http://www.awesomebackgrounds.com/powerpointtutorials.htm
Chirag has created an animations add-in that has a nice continuous
fade-in/fade-out. http://officeone.mvps.org/anims/anims.html

I found a way and it's easy and efficient...Select all the objects within the
animation sequence by holding down the shift key when selecting...Be sure to
select each animation object in the same order your want them to
perform...When you have all the objects selected, choose "Copy" from the Edit
Menu or by right clicking the mouse and choosing "Paste"...The next step is
to select "Paste" from the Edit Menu or by right clicking the mouse and
choosing "Paste". This will paste a duplicate of the animations you created
in the animation listing...You can do this as many times as you need...

Hi Michael,
I too needed to do the same thing and couldn't find anyone that thought it
possible on this community website. However, my co-worker found this website
which gives detailed step-by-step instruction on how to create this. Here is
the link:
http://masterview.ikonosnewmedia.com/2007/10/19/how_to_create_a_looping.htm
I realized your post was from a while ago, but hopefully someone else
searching this forum will see this and find it useful!
