In Excel 2007 I am no longer able to edit a query located in the same Excel file as the source data. This has not been a limitation with Excel 2003, 2000, or 97, although one was instructed to close the file with the source data prior to creating or editing a query. Since I have a substantial number of applications with multiple queries in the same file with the source data, the limitation in Excel 2007 presents a major problem. Is there a convenient workaround for this problem?
