I use Win XP Professional and Word. When I type a Word document I get lots
of indications of spelling or grammatical errors - usually coloured wiggly
lines, which I don't want. I know I can get rid of these by clicking
Tools\spelling and grammar\hide spelling errors in this document \hide
grammatical errors etc but I have to do this for *each* document I create.
How can I fix it so that it *always* reads this way?

TIA

Mr Warwick

Go to Tools > Options > Spelling & Grammar, and uncheck the boxes for
"Check spelling as you type" and "Check grammar as you type".
