just stupidly lost three hours work in word. cant restore or find it in
recycle bin

If you deleted this 'inside' Word and then saved the document, you are
pretty much out of luck. Your only (slim) hope is that if you have the
Always Create a Backup option enabled, you may find the previously saved
version still lurking.
