Cannot find proofing tools for Portuguese (Brazil)

I have a user that is receiving the following error:

Cannot find proofing tools for Portuguese (Brazil). If you have the proofing
tools, try installing or re-installing them. Contact your local reseller to
obtain Office Proofing Tools. For more information, see the Microsoft Office
Site.

How do I get this error message to stop displaying whenever she runs a spell
check? We're not sure why she is getting prompted about Portuguese.

She may have automatic language detection turned on. Try this:

With a blank document open:

Tools > Language > Set language

Uncheck the box before "Detect language automatically". Click on "OK". Save
and close the document. Exit and restart Word. Open a new blank document and
check that the option is turned off before continuing.

Portuguese huh? That's a new one. So far I've run into German and
Serbo-Croatian.
