I use excel a lot and know it kind of good but this one I can not resolve :
guys, I need help! I tried all settings and nothing worked! I do not see the
first column (A) of the spreadsheets and the column with row numbers. When I
switch the view to "full screen" they show up but than I do not have
toolbars. Thanks!

Two things you can do. First, and hopefuly you are using 2003 or earlier, to
see the row/column headers go to Tools-Options and on the View tab select Row
and Column headers. Once you see them, if you are not seeing Column A, then
click on the square at the top left of your excel window, which is above row
1 and to the left of column A (headers). This should select the entire
worksheet. Once you have done that, go to Format-Column and select Unhide.
This should make all columns visible. Let me know if you are still having a
problem after trying this or if you have trouble finding the commands because
you are using 2007.
