Preparing classroom notes and assessment questions for students require some
drawing and snapping capabilities. Are there any Word subroutines to download
and use in addition to Word?

You can do quite a lot using the options on the Draw toolbar. The snapping
capabilities are on the Grid sub-menu.

For anything more sophisticated than that, Word is the wrong application to
use. Use a drawing app, like CorelDraw or similar. Current versions are
expensive, but an old version would be fine for your purpose.

Jezebel:
Thank you much for the suggestion. I shall see if the Draw Toolbar helps me
out.
