How do I change font size in Outlook (2002) email?

Outlook 2002 using MS Word as editor to send emails. My font is Arial 10 point. I know I can change font from 10 to 12 by highlight text or clicking on point size before starting to type. I want to change it to 12 point permanently.

It's simple to change in MS Word processor, but not the word editor for email.
