I added a new contact but it does not display

I am entering new contacts. The last two I entered do not display. They come
up if I do a "find" but they don't display in my alphabetical listing. From
what I can find on line, I should be able to enter up to 65,000 addresses. I
have about 1% of that amount. I tried deleting them, closing out contacts and
then adding again but they still don't display.

what view are you looking at? Is it grouped or filtered??
