Office 2003 SP1 + all updates
Windows XP SP2
After a couple of install/uninstall copy/paste, I've to admit that I need
your precious help. I've 3 Office 2003 running perfectly and 1 that is
causing language problems.
Word default languages are Portuguese and English, however when changing to
any other language Word 2003 crashes. It happens with both new and old
documents.
------- PART I -------
I've performed following steps:
1) Reboot.
2) Uninstall Office.
3) I've Use "Easy Clean" to find registry problems, but I have't clean I
single line, because no lines from Office previous installation were found.
4) Reboot.
5) Install Office.
6) Reboot.
7) Microsoft Office update all packs....
Reboot.
9) Try it again with NO success !!
------- PART II -------
Then I tried to copy "all" files from another machine, i.e.:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\PROOF\*.*
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\*.*
NO success !!
------- PART III -------
There is no PART III.
I'm asking for your valuable help.
