Hi all,

I created a document in WORD on my laptop. At the time, I don't believe I
registered the copy -- I did so a couple of weeks later. Spell check will
work on every other document I have created on the laptop -- except this one.
(That's why I've included the info on when I registered. It's the only thing
I can think of that could be affecting this problem.)

I saved the document on a jump drive and tried it on several different
computers and clicked on SpellCheck -- to no avail. Each time, spelling
mistakes are not picked up.

The document is now 50+ pages so retyping is not an option. Can you think of
a solution that does not include manually checking the document?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Try this; select all the text in document (Ctrl A), then go to
Tools>Language>Set Language. A dialogue box will appear and uncheck
the "Do not check spelling or grammar" box. This I believe will
solve your problem.

Thanks so much, James. That was exactly it!
