I am not exactly quite sure how to phrase this so here it goes:

I am attempting to create a secure portion (only accessed
through a password for each individual, up to 800 individuals) to the
website I have created. The website is HTML and is use a HTML Kit to
edit the website. I am extremely new to website design/maintenance and
I am wondering what I need to do to achieve this, can anyone help?

Thank you very much.

The Control Panel of your web host should have an icon for setting up
password access for specific folders.
It's all accomplished through htaccess.

Here's some reading
