I have numerous emails that I want to take on business trips with me for work
purposes without taking my laptop. Can I save my emails on a “memory stick”
and if so how do I do that?

You sure can, go to

C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR NAME\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\

you can copy the outlook.ost which stores all of your emails.

In addition to what Gordon says, whith Outlook closed, you can even just
copy the entire PST Outlook uses. If you're using Exchange for the mailbox,
Gordon's advice obtains.

That's assuming Exchange (and there's no indication of that in the original
message) and even if Exchange is used, without the original mail profile,
the OST is worthless.

create a new pst file within outlook, copy or move all the emails you want
to it, then with Outlook closed, copy the pst file to the memory stick.
