I run the query in SAP and do the download to spreadsheet
Then when excel opens and downloads the file you see the data,
It changed a numeric format 12234 to a 12:00000000000000
Currency changes from $12.30 to a 12:00 format
Now when I ran these queries in SAP using Office 2003 and did the same
download to Excel NO ISSUES, everything was fine.
Once I was upgraded to Office 2007, this is what happened.
Note, I tried to change the format, format cells, etc in Excel and the file
would not change.
So big issue as I can’t sort nor sum amounts etc.
So, it’s either how the new office 2007 Excel sees the SAP output, and there
is some Excel setting I need to do, or some change in the SAP output. Either
way, right now my queries are useless to use!
Note to date SAP has no solutions, I am running with SAP GUI 7.1 update 18.

Becoming bigger issue as our company is going on Office 2007.
So looking for some advise, insight or ideas as so far SAP is no help and
now looking on the Microsoft side.
