Hi,

I've got a computer with Windows XP SP2, Winword 97 and Outlook 2003.

When I use my Spell-Checker, winword crash and I can read the following
message in the event observer.

Application default winword.exe .... , Module default ntdll.dll.....

This problem appeared when I installed Outloook 2003 on the computer the
last month.

Maybe there's a problem of compatibility between the winword 97
spell-checker and the outllook 2003 spell-checher ?

Sorry for my english langage. I hope I'm clear in my question..

Regards

Jean Marie

Bonne chance.

Which for the rest of us, according to Word and WorldLingo, means ...

It appears difficult to to me to consider an incompatibility between these two
products ms. By supposing that all went well before the installation
of Outlook, I would start with désinstaller Outlook and to check that it
spell check walk correctly with Word 97. If it is the case, to do one
restore-point and résinstaller Outlook after having carefully checked
the absence of error on the disc and unobtrusive your temporary files.

If the problem persists, to try to repair Word 97 (I do not remember
not with certainty if this option is proposed when one goes in Control
Panel, Add gold Remove) or désinstaller and to reinstall. To make a restore
not when any walk and to start again the installation of Outlook. Like
a newsgroup ms, I will not suggest you using a software less
sensitive to the viruses.

Aint Word wonderful?

Nice try Pat. I hope the OP will not learn English based on this
rendition but I guess most readers do not walk with Word ... :=)

I was too lazy to post both in English and French.
