Page number don't show on every slide

Hi,

I have a presentation which has been amanded over the years by different
people. The problem I have is that although the pqge numers run true to the
slide numbers I can only see the page numbers on some slides and not all. I
have tried moving text boxes etc but still can't see them;

Can anyone help?

Cazzy

In the Insert>Slide Number dialog you can turn on or off numbers for
individual slides, selected slides or all slides.

I already tried that. The numbers still don't show up.
