When I change my language to Canada English it does not stay set. I run spell
checker once ( in MS word) and it is good. When I run it again it reverts

In the "tips" section of my website you'll find a (longish) article about spell
checking and language formatting in Word. Work your way through that and see if
it help solve the problem you're seeing.
