OPening a Word attachment in Outlook 2000

I have aproblem that is driving me crazy. When I open a word attachment - no matter what the size - it can take up to 30 seconds to actually open. does anyone have any idea what could be happening? I'm attached to an Exchange 2000 server and run McAffee anti-virus v7.1

Hi I am new too using MS Word An I am not sure how too either, But my question is why in some of my post to either a group or priviat emali it goes to outlook express. I have 3 messages in there an they have not been sent to the people I have never used outlokk b/4 So why is it going there? I hope I am posting this message in the right thread. And if any one would or could help me to get the basic's of MS Word I would apprecated so very much. I thank you in adfvance
