OLK folder

Yes Fredrik. That is how far I can get if I were to just browse there. I can
get to the OLK folder though if I were to type it in in the browse line.

Hmm. Have you tried to let windows search for the doc?

Yes and still won't find it as the system does not even think that folder is
there. Yet I can go right in the way I was talking about and save something
in that location. But once it is there I can not get it out.

How interesting. You now have a domesticated black hole. Unfortunately, I
don'thave XP but I shall think about this and return if I come up with
something. If you save something reasonably big and notice how much space
you have available on that disk before and after, will there be a
difference?

That is the secure temp folder - if you enter the path exactly, you can open
it. You can also move the folder location -

to use File, Save as when he opens documents from an email message.

You are going to need to do the "save-as" when dealing with opening up outlook attachments. Plenty of data on this subject here:

this is known as "superhidden" folder at microsoft. I could not unhide it but one can easily find out the complete name of the olk folder.
Open an attachment from a mail and select "SaveAs". In the "Save As" box, you can see the fullname of the OLK folder in "Save in" field. You can then use it to fullfill the path of the "internet temp files" or even better, you look for the file you are searching for in the list of the files in that "SAVE AS" box, right-click the file, copy it and paste it where you want to.
