Mail merge 8 up Duplex

How does one go about setting up a 8 up Duplex mail merge in Word 2007. The
front and back never matches. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Graham,
You need to use the {set --} and {ref --} fields to do this.

On your front page use {SET Surnamea {MAILMERGE surname}} then the same for Surnameb with a {NEXT} before it.

On the reverse page you wil need to reference the fields in reverse order
i.e. {REF Surnameb \*MERGEFORMAT} then {REF Surnamea \*MERGEFORMAT}

Depending if you are flipping horizontally or vertically you may need to have refs to D and C above B and A.
