Macro for Word Question

I have searched for the answer to this, but have not been able to find it. If the answer is already somewhere, I apologize.

I am writing a Word Macro to perform a series of find and replace actions, but I only want it to work on a selected section - how would you go about doing this? Thank you very much in advance for any help you can provide.
