We are upgrading our Word 2002 to Word 2003 and plan on pushing out the
installation to our users. We would like to have the standard and
formatting toolbars appear on two rows. I saw one reference to a macro
which would make this setting but cannot find it on archives. Can someone
tell us how to do this?

Thanks in advance,

In Word 2002, the setting is at Tools > Options > Customize.

And an upgrade should maintain this personalisation. Why would you want to
force personalisations on users? They should be free to have Word set up as
they prefer,

I need to clarify this a bit...

We are going to choose migrate settings for our already existing users, but
as new users come on, we would like to have certain settings as our default
that are not the word default. We see a lot of settings that can be made in
the transform file, in the .ops file and the registry, but not this
particular one. Actually, we think we do see it in the registry but the
entry is binary, so we weren't able to make a .reg file.

The last resort I could think of was a macro that would make the setting,
but we can't seem to find this particular item in the object model.

Any suggestions on how we could accomplish this would be most welcome.
Also, I tried posting this on one other newsgroup vba.customization,
thinking they might have a lead on the macro idea, but am not really sure
exactly where I should post this.

Thanks,
Allison Orange
