I am having a problem where Word (and now Outlook) will pause when running
the initial spell check. It's fine if I just open a document but when I
start typing to edit it the spell check kicks in and runs through the
document highlighting errors. On other computers this happens but doesen't
affect the ability to keep typing. I have disabled the spelling and grammar
check as you type in Tools - Options - Spelling & Grammar and the pausing
doesen't happen anymore. Windows is XP SP2 and Word is 2003 SP2. Any help
would be appreciated.
