Just over the last few weeks I have been having an issue, in MS Excel,
switching between windows when I have more than one worksheet open (using
Alt-Tab). This is rather annoying, as I really rely on this functionality.
Can anyone shed some light on this? In doing some research, I have heard it
may be a recently implemented Security Update???
Any help would be appreciated... Thanks.

What's the issue?
If you go to Tools-->Options-->View-->is Windows in Taskbar checked?

YES... "Windows in Taskbar" IS checked.
The issue is that using the ALT-TAB construct does not always allow me to
toggle between MS Excel Windows. Seems that, when toggling between open MS
Excel windows using ALT-TAB, the "cursor" or active cell (for lack of a
better term) gets "stuck" on the menu bar. The menu title "File" is
highlighted.
Also, it seems that the speed in which I do the toggling affects whether or
not I get to the next window. The faster I toggle, the more likely that I
will NOT get to the 2nd window.
Very annoying...

The only time I had an issue with that is if you inadvertently trigger the
Menu accelerators by releasing ALT before you hit TAB.
I haven't heard about any security update that would cause the normal
ALT+TAB behavior to act otherwise.

No, something has definitely changed, as I am a LONG time user of MS Excel
and have not altered anything recently. But, as with most computer-related
issues, we will probably NEVER know what the issue is/was/whatever, unless
there are enough complaints... c'est la vie !!!
Thanks for your comments. In future I will just (have to remember to) use
the Ctrl-Tab key combination which is still functional and achieves the same
result.
Regards...
