Lotus Word Pro Documents

I bought a new computer last yr. I had documents transferred onto my
new computer that were created in Lotus Word Pro 96 Edition. I cannot
open them now. Is there any way that they can be just read and printed?

Word has never been able to open native-format WordPro (.lwp)
files. You can download and install the Lotus KeyView program by
visiting ftp://ftp.lotus.com/pub/lotusweb/product/smartsuite/ and
clicking on KVLOTUS.EXE. Lotus KeyView is a free viewer that
will let you open Lotus SmartSuite files (WordPro, 1-2-3, and
Freelance Graphics) and then copy and paste to Word or other
applications.

There are no converters available for Lotus Pro from Microsoft, though there
are third party converters available - try Dataviz. Or you could convert
them to a compatible format with WordPro, if you still have access to it.
