When I try to print a merged document in WORD 2003 (Win XP Home), after clicking OK in the print dialogue box, suddenly, all the characters on every line shift into a clump at the LH end of each line. The document prints like that and if I close and re-open / re-do it all it stays the same. There is no way I can print that document once WORD has made its mind up. If I do power down and restart it usually (not always) solves the problem. I have had this problem for three years, in Office 2000 with HP and EPSON 2100 inkjet printers and with three different laptops and EPSON 4100 and 4200 laser printers installed locally and networked. Nothing, just nothing, makes any difference to this problem. Like the proverbial bad smell, it just keeps on coming back and back and back. Any ideas ?
