My fiance and I are putting together our wedding invitation and created it
using the font JI-Groved, which was on our MS Word font file. The issue is
that the font doesn't seem to be available for punctuation and numbers. Does
anyone know how we can get the complete font JI-Groved in some type of
Tru-type form? We're happy to pay for it if need be. Thanks!

As an addendum to Jezebel's comments-

The font was installed by an application, possibly Smartdraw.
http://www.smartdraw.com/

The JI part of the name would appear to denote Jupiter Images
Corporation.

I'm not sure why there is no punctuation. I checked a few of LI's other
calligraphic and handwriting fonts and those I checked all had it. (It
is not uncommon for 'demo' versions of fonts to lack punctuation or even
some alphanumerics.)

In any event, you could set all the text with Groved and use another
font for the punctuation-MT Corsiva, for example. However, it would be
easier to choose a different font. There are a great many of that type
available.

These are Included with various MS applications:
MT Corsiva
Lucida Calligraphy Italic

And the 'class' of the calligraphic font group in my opinion, and
possibly exactly what you want:
Zapfino from Linotype.
http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/zapfino/

Good luck.

That particular font only contains the 26 common alphabetic
characters, in upper and lower case. There is no "complete" version.
It's very likely to be a close clone or copy of something more
well-known and complete.

I'd suggest going to the script identification guide at
http://bowfinprintworks.com/ScriptIDGuide.html
to try and find something similar to use.

Or try googling for
Calligraphy fonts
calligraphic fonts

Tom is right.

Here's the source of the JI fonts - already opened to the page with
JI-Groved:
http://tinyurl.com/yfxrlg

Looking at it closer, you might find a more complete set of what
you're looking for in the category of "Pirate fonts". That's fonts
that supposedly look like how educated pirates wrote .. not fonts that
have been pirated!

Here's a nice collection (mixed quality - from average to excellent)
of free "Pirate" fonts. Just click on the main part of each graphic to
download.

There is no "MS Word font file". Fonts are installed along with software you
install, such as Office and Windows; but "JI-Groved" isn't a Microsoft font.
It must have been installed with some other software you've loaded at some
point. If it's missing punctuation and numbers, it was probably part of a
game or a special download. Even Google doesn't suggest much.

Choose a different font or cancel the wedding.

Not sure where it came from then -- though it shows up in MS Word on our
system (from MS Office 2003). Google reveals others that have used it, so it
must be out there, but I'm stumped as to how to fill out the missing pieces.
Guess the wedding is off.

I'm guessing it's a clone of a standard "Engraved" font, so you should be
able to find something similar enough to serve; searching for "engraved"
will probably work better for you than searching for this particular elusive
font.

Word -- like any other application -- shows whatever fonts are installed on
your computer. If you Google any real font, you'll get several hundred
thousand pages, and any number of download sites; as opposed to the 15
MySpace pages you get for JI-Groved.
