Hi,

I have installed the English version of Office 2003 Pro and must use the
Portuguese (Brazil) language for spelling and grammar. How I can install it?
I have the MSDN Subscription and have both the English and the Portuguese
version of the Office 2003. I would use the English version, but with the
option to use the Portuguese (Brazil) spelling.

Thanks,

Max

Hello!!

i had the same problem, and it was solved, it's been almost a year since you've posted here, but at least it will have an answer Razz

here's the thing:

i'm using Office 2003 and Office Xp (2002) both in english (in seperated machines of course), and on another computer Office Xp in Portuguese (from Portugal).

So i've copied from this Directory:

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\PROOF\" ->
directory 2070 with all files inside
CHAPI3T1.DLL
CSAPI3T1.DLL
CTAPI3T2.DLL
MSGR_PT.LEX
MSLID.DLL
MSSP3PT.DLL
MSSP3PT.LEX
MSTH3PT.DLL
MSTH3PT.LEX

and also from this Directory:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE10\" ->
directory 2070 with all files inside

and i've pasted them in the same place within the English Offices.

if you have doubts on which files to copy, just take a look on both versions of Office.
