Folks,
I have a problem with Word 2007. The cursor flickers all of the time and it
makes working within a document very difficult. The cursor flickers as if
the system is switching between the processing circle and the arrow pointer.
This only happens in Word 2007 but no other parts of Office 2007 Professional.
Does anyone know of a solution please. I note from the Internet that others
are experiencing this problem as well.
My system is a Dell Dimension C521 with Windows Vista Home Basic Edition and
Microsoft Office 2007 Professional. Any help would be appreciated.

YES! I have the exact problem. It happened in Word 2000 so I upgraded to 2007 thinking it was a compatibility problem with Vista, but it continued. Do you have a weird problem with the font box in Wordpad, too?

Anyway, I've spent hours researching and even spent some money calling a help line. No luck. If you have figured it out let me know.

Thanks

I have a new Compaq with Vista Home. I've scanned for viruses and malware but came up clean. So it must be a software glitch.

I experienced this problem for the first time the other day. If you have a problem with your drivers for your default printer this will occur. Try changing your default printer to something else like "Microsoft Document Writer" and see if it corrects itself.
