Field Codes In Header Will Not Update Unless I Select "Edi..

I have acreated a set of customer document properties. A couple of them I am
referencing on the document cover page, and the remaining ones I reference in
the Headers and Footers.

The field code in the main document work with no issue. I can change the
property value, right click a field and select "Update Field" and the new
value appears. The field code in the header/footer does not update. A right
click and select of "Update Field" does nothing. If I right click and select
"Edit Field...", change nothing and simply hit OK, the new value appears.

I want to ultimatley use a macro to update all fields. Until I can get this
issue resolved manually, I stand no chance of getting a macro to work. Any
support in replicating this issue to confirm it's not my install or
normal.dot causing the issue would be greatly appreciated.

Switching to Print Preview and then back to your "favorite" view should
update the fields in headers and footers.
