I have installed both Office 2003 and Office 2007 on my laptop, using Vista
2007 operating system.
Whenever I open either version of an application, I get an error dialog box -
BCM Office Addin
Office application version does not match.
Is there a way to resolve this confict?
What is the best way to run both versions of Office (2003 and 2007) on one pc?
Thanks |

Excel 2003 and 2007 co-exist quite nicely on their own, generally installed
in oldest version order.
It is the add-in's issue that it appears not to be able to work with
multiple versions.
To overcome this you might try moving it to a location other than add-ins
and just 'import' it into one version. Simply unchecking from one may work,
but may not.
If you want a version that works with both, speak to the add-in provider

Hi,
I've got the same error. But I just bought a new Computer. Office 2007 Trial was installed and I deleted it, then I installed Office 2003. Now I have the same mistake. I didn't install any addons.
Any ideas?

I have a similar problem, except I had the Office 2007 and once it expired,
purchased the Office 2007 Small Business edition. I am getting the error
message whenever I open an Office 2007 application. Have you received any
answers? I sure would like to get rid of the error message and would like to
know that new documents, spreadsheets, etc. I create will not be corrupted
later.

You need to enter your control panel, and choose to remove programs. Then browse through the installed programs, and you will find other programs that are related to Office 2007, which you cannot use, if you don't have Office 2007 installed.
I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but I also had a trial version of Office 2007 installed, and I found Business Contact Manager or something like that, which I uninstalled, and the problem disappeared. |

In Windows Vista.
Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features
Please remove Business Contact Manager, system will work well without error message.
Best regards,
