DELETE Button will not DELETE

Hi I have a small Problem for some reason (proberly me) my "Delete Key" will not delete a word or section of a word that I have "highlighted" to remove with the DELETE button??? however if I un Highlight it and then repeatedly hit delete it will remove the word letter by letter if the cursor is to the left of the word. I have obviously clicked somthing I souldnt have, there Ya go the delete button just worked now after I highlighted the (nt) in "HAVENT" but it still no go in office can sombody help me please Thank's Dasha

Hey its me 'umar' , i had the same problem and i had never heard of this site but as soon as i typed up my problem up in 'google' i came here, and found my problem to be resolved straight away, this site is awesome!!, i was helped straight away, i then registered and and you people out there should do to. Come to these guys!! they know what they are doing. BIG UP! to guys man and thanx 4 the help, i really apperciate it.
