Create new theme colors

In PP, with open presentation, design tab, colors button, the Create New
Theme Colors is not highlighted, thus I can't change them. What am I doing
wrong?

Create New Theme Colors should be available. (Reset Slide Theme Colors will
often be unavailable, though.)

If you right-click the colors in the list, you can choose Edit -- but you
can only do that on color schemes you've created. (And for that you'd need
Create New Theme Colors, I know.)

What kind of file are you working with?
