You don't say which version of Word you're using... but the following seems
to work with Word 2003 and 2007. Open the .html file using your browser.
Press Ctrl+A to copy everything to the clipboard, then paste it into a new
document window in Word. When I save such a file, the resulting images are
all saved as part of the document, and are no longer linked externally.
