Hi
When I started using word years ago there used to be a tab somewhere that
changes highlighted text from CAPS to lowercase or vise versa or even other
styles ie initial caps etc wher has this gone to in word 2002?

Shift+F3 cycles through Sentence Case, Upper Case, Lower Case

Alternatively, select Case from the Format menu.
