Autocorrect assistance with IT

I can't seem to get autocorrect to accept IT as an exception for not correcting to It. Anybody know why this is happening? When I go to the autocorrect exception list and type IT it will not let me add it. I can add ITs, but not just IT.

I'm not sure why that's happening.

Try adding IT to your Custom Dictionary. If I'm not mistaken, that should allow Word to skip it during auto correction.
