If I make a new mail message, AutoCorrect does not work in the subject line
of the message but it does in the body.

The ONLY way I can get it to work, is to turn make new messages in Plain
Text wihout Word as email editor.

Is this a bug? Outlook 2003 SP2.

Thanks, Neal.

Hi Neal,

I'd ask this in an OUTLOOK group. Even if you're using Word, the "email
envelope" is part of Outlook. Someone there may have an explanation.
