Hi
Can a background image be added to a new appointment being scheduled? I have
added background images to new messages, but can't seem to find a way to add
one to an appointment request that I'm sending. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

No, appointments don't support all the formatting options that messages do.

If it's not supported, it's not supported. Why would you want to clutter
things up that way in the first place?

It's not for me, I know that it is not working and I didn't find any way to
define it.
I work in help desk support, and someone insisted that this option is exist
so I had to try
txn anyway

Try composing in HTML in a message form, select all and paste or you can
insert HTML as text. However, I don't know how well it will look on the
receivers end - it looks fine when the mail system is exchange with outlook
2007.
