Gurus,
In Word 2000 or 2003, where do I go to set the feature where Word will
AUTOCORRECT a mis-spelled word instead of simply just underlining it with a
squiggly red line?

Hello,
You can go to Tools, then AutoCorrect Options. Fill in the “Replace” field
with the erroneous spelling, then the “With” field with the correction you
want to see and click on Add. This should solve your problem.
I hope it helps.
Best wishes,
Thierry

Hi Spin,
They are kept in an .acl file (acl stands for "AutoCorrect List"). There is
one for each language whose speller is installed on your machine. My ACL file
for English is MSO.acl in c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\1033.
I hope it helps,
Thanks,
Thierry
