i aint seen it yet but don't you think something is wrong when a great
artist like scorsese is remaking some run of the mill hong kong genre
thriller?
now, infernal affairs is a pretty impressive mooie but it's nothing
more than genre fare.
why should scorsese be touching this kind of material? yes, money so i
unnerstand but rather sad. |

It looks and sounds like a TV movie. If Scorsese's name wasn't on the
credits I would never have guessed he made this film. Something is
definitely missing. He's 65, maybe he's on some kind of medications
that have inadvertantly taken away the edginess that made his best
films great?
