Is it just me or are horror movies just not scary anymore?

Dont you just miss the good old days, back in the time of steven speilberg I mean now a days horror movies are not even scary. I mean movies like house of wax it was a good movie dont get me wrong but we need more movies like the chainsaw massacre i mean now that was a scary movie just the way they started it by showin us all those police evidences and how it was all real i mean that gets you thinking like "holy cow" there realy is people that weird and evil like in this movie oh my god what if there is someone like that near by my home now this is something that scares most people and i mean it might be a little too much for some people but for us hardcore horror movie watchers its just right or like this one old movie pet cememtary that was a scary movie if it had just been re made with now a days that would be a great movie but noe they have movies like when a stranger calls i mean wat da heck is that i dont now if its supposed to be scary but that was not scary at all no no no no we need better horror movies....
